Hermes and Wizard side-by-side
A couple of you who are aware of my intermediate Photoshop skills wanted to see what the Hermes would look like in comparison to the Wizard 200 series. Here's my result...
The size is pretty comparable, assuming the Hermes has the same size 2.8" screen, I was able to resize them to exactly the same screen dimensions.
I'm surprised they shrunk the keyboard characters and it looks more flush to that half of the device. Considering that the Wizard's keyboard's keys are very well-sized, and making it any smaller or harder to press will slow down the efficiency of its use.
But, boy, am I loving that front-facing video camera! Ooh, the thought of videoconferencing a la Dick Tracy, Star Trek, or even action movies like XXX starring Vin Diesel, is so close, yet so far! What's taking these companies so long?!

For videoconferencing to work you shouldn't only be a tech freak, but also convince your friends to pass to Hermes as well. ;)
But indeed, UMTS is really powerful and as HSDPA gets deployed by 2006 we'll see even more services and uses for these phones. And above all, productivity!
